When driving through a puddle of uncertain depth, go slow. If it's deeper than the bottom of your doors, turn around and find another route. Deep water can cause serious damage to a modern vehicle's electrical system.

Vehicles must stop when the bus displays flashing red warning lights and extends the stop signal arm. Vehicles may not pass until the flashing red lights and signals are turned off.

An emergency vehicle is defined as a police vehicle, ambulance or fire truck. These vehicles may have red, white, blue or a combination of red and white and blue lights which, when responding to an emergency, are constantly flashing.

In heavy traffic, at night, or when weather conditions are not ideal (eg. light rain, light fog, light snow), double the 3 second rule to 6 seconds for added safety.

Your reaction to an emergency vehicle could give a person a much greater chance of survival or prolong the wait for life-saving treatment.

Practice winter driving techniques in a snowy, open parking lot, so you're familiar with how your vehicle handles.

Motorcycle can be easily hidden in a vehicles's blind spots (door/roof pillars) or masked by objects or backgrounds outside a vehicle (bushes, fences, bridges, etc). Take an extra moment to look for motorcycles, whether you're changing lanes or turning at intersections.

A clean workspace will enable you to identify a problem and take care of it faster and more effectively.

Have you already check your eligibility? Then click the link below to register and complete your online Defensive Driving Course today! If you do not check your eligibility and you are later found ineligible, you will not receive a refund. Please be sure to check eligibility before registering.

NOTICE: After you have registered, your course activation will be pending until we receive a faxed, scanned, emailed, or cell phone photo of your ORIGINAL citation and front and back of your driver's license. If you do not have the ORIGINAL citation contact your court and see if they will fax a copy to 520.392.7705.

If you are using a cell phone to take photos of your citation, take 3 pictures. One of the top, middle, and bottom sections along with the front and back of your driver's license.

Note: Even though you may be eligible, if you have a criminal violation you must check with your court before registering with a traffic school. Some courts do not allow you to take a defensive driving course for a criminal violation.

Reminder: It is important to keep track of your court date so you do not go into default. Going into default with your court results in you having to pay for the citation, points being added to your driving record and your insurance company being notified.

State and school fee's are non-refundable except when:

The jurisdictional court dismisses the citation.
Upon notification by the jurisdictional court.
An officer fails to file a citation with a court.
A citation is dismissed by a jurisdictional court on its own motion, for technical problems not correctable under civil traffic rules of court.

The Arizona Supreme Court will not allow us to activate a student until we have receive a copy of the citation, driver's license, and we have verified 'eligibility'.

If the violation you are taking the course for is CRIMINAL, you must get permission from the court prior to registering.

Course Information: The course length is 4 hours with the ability to log in and out as many times as needed. The course must be completed 7 days prior to your court date. Once the course is completed you will receive an email with a link to view and print your certificate of completion. For your convenience, we also report all online course completions to the courts electronically!
